Professor, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, ING 1024: Strength and Properties of Materials: August 2018 – December 2018 

Lectured in Spanish for two 80 min classes per week and facilitated the material science half of introductory course for ~80 second-year undergraduate engineering students. Topics include the microstructural origin of elasticity, plasticity, fracture, fatigue, and thermal material properties.

· Completion of Physics Machine Shop Class, experience working with lathe, mill, and other metal machining tools, as well as rock coring and ice sample preparation. 

· Competence with Matlab, LabView, and Python programming 

· Proficiency in Spanish 

· Passion for outdoor exploration including kayaking, biking, hiking, mountaineering, skiing…
